that are made in our condos. Many are longer and give info and
recommendations on what they have done while in Marco and where they have
eaten. Because of space I have not put the entire entries on this page
and they can be read in full in our Guest Book when you arrive. Recommendations for Apt 304 -- Click Apt 707 for Recommendations for 707 Apt 304 June 2010 Date of Stay - June 12 - 26 This is our 5th visit to Florida. So far, Marco Island is the winner. We had a great time from the first moment to the very last. In the condo we felt as if we were home. Thank you for your hospitality, Lorraine and Bill. Thank you for sharing your condo with us. We definitely would like to come back. Dozpoly, Columbus, IN, - Budapest, Hungary ----------------------------------------------------------- Date of Stay - June 5 - 12 This is our second visit to Marco Island and staying at South Seas. We absolutely love it here--especially the beach and pool. Totally relaxing and what we needed. The condo was very well stocked and appreciated the cleanliness. We will be back for sure. We are very impressed with the security and grounds. We went to Sanibel and th beach and water doesn't compare to Marco. Thanks so much for sharing your condo and your recommendations on restaurants. We like to come this time of year--no crowds. We could not have been more at home, except for the view, of course. We had spent a week at Disney and we needed to rest up. We piced the right place. Boekler, Wowatoga, WI -------------------------------------- Date of Stay - May 15 - 22 We wanted a quiet relaxing finish to our vacation touring Florida's Gulf Coast and that is exactly what we got. We have loved our short stay on Marco, walking the shore and relaxing by the pool as well a browsing the malls and of course spending some money. As for the condo--well, we are most impressed at how well stocked it is with everything one needs providing a real home from home comfort. In addition everyone we met around the place was pleasant and welcoming, especially the gentleman at the gate. We had a lovely vacation in Florida and our time on Marco Island has had a great influence on this. Who knows, we may return one day. March 2010 We have been coming to Marco Island in the Spring for the past 8 years, staying at the Hilton. It has been a real treat to have two ful weeks and to spend it in the comfort of your spacious and exceptionally clean condo. Love the beach and the weather was perfect. We especially liked your instructional notes placed throughout the condo. The note on the beach chair and how to close it is indicative of the attention to detail that you provide. Hello! Just wanted to let
you know we had a great time staying at your condo in Marco Island. It was
well furnished and comfortable. We collected a lot of nice sea shells and
relaxed in the sun. The weather was cool but the porch made a nice spot to
lay in the sun out of the cool wind. The daytime temps. were in the 60's
and low 70's. We missed two snows in PA while we were there and almost
didn't make it home as all the flights were cancelled by lunchtime
Saturday. Our flight was the last one in at Harrisburg. We hated to come
home and wish we could spend more time in Florida but the party's over and
it's back to work Monday. Jan 2005

I've wanted to sit down and write you a
nice note thanking you for allowing us to rent your condo 304 during the
week of March 5-12. We had a very nice time, and your condo is well
equipped for travelers. We found a pretty glass vase in your cupboard and
went to the nearby Publix to fill it with flowers for the dining table and
it felt just like home!

The apartment was great and we all found the beds to be very comfortable. You thought of everything anyone could need, so it was easy for us to make ourselves right at home. I hope we put all the carpet runners back in their correct spots!! The carpet really looked nice after the cleaning. Truly, the apartment was lovely and we really like staying at South Seas. I hope I get to meet you some day--I feel like we would be great friends. I should also mention that we took a charter boat trip with Captain Cedric Davis of Fantasea Boat Tours: http://www.fantaseatours.net. He took us to Sand Dollar Island and then through the 10,000 Islands and all the way around Marco. We found fantastic shells on the sand bar and at one point he coaxed 4 dolphins to play in the boat's wake. We took this tour in the rain and still had a fabulous time. He will customize tours for up to 6 passengers and he is docked at Cedar Bay Marina. The boat trip and watching the sunset from Quinn's were two major highlights of our visit. Thanks again! Mike Saltmarsh Hello Lorraine! Sorry but just missed getting your email before we left for Marco Island. We had a wonderful vacation and thought apartment #304 was beautiful! The outlook through the palm trees down the beach was a particular joy. When you referred to the visitor book we thought that perhaps you had one to sign and leave appreciative comments, but have put them here instead. The ceiling fans were a great asset. The updated card system for using the laundry room machines worked really well and was so convenient! We thoroughly enjoyed our beach walks and shell searching! Watching the various birds around the complex and along the beach was always interesting. We also spent a glorious day at the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary which was well worth the short drive, especially as it is practically mosquito free! We enjoyed watching the sunset from the beach, the Marriott and the Tide Restaurant. One evening my husband and I took a romantic walk down the beach and arrived at the Marriott in time to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sunset. The condo location was great and had everything we needed so that we didn't have to eat out for breakfast or lunch. We would have watched some of your movies or played the games in the condo but the weather was too good - not one single rain shower during our 7 day stay. We look forward to renting from you again in the
future and we have passed your website address on to some friends of ours in

June 2010 Date of Stay: June 24 - July 1 Thank you for making your condo a home-away-from-home! Everything we needed from pots and pans to beach quipment and accessories were just a hand's reach away. The views from the balcony are beautiful. The sunsets are breathtaking. We collected many shells and enjoyed the huge waves. The pool was clean and refreshing. Note from owner: Normally there are not huge waves on Marco beach except when there is a storm at sea which sends them in. We had an enjoyable and memorable vacation! The Wyckoff's Date of stay: June 15 to 23 Thank you for sharing your well kept, well equipped and lovely condo. We had a wonderful time. In the past we have been to various parts of Florida, but found your beach very clean. Rocco MAY 2010 Date of stay: May 1 - 8 We thoroughly enjoyed your comfortable and well-appointed condo. It was so nice to start our days with breakfast on the balcony while taking in the lovely views of the beach. Marco Island is spectacular! We loved vacationing here in "Paradise" and having your Apt 707 as our anchor made this trip special indeed! Thank you so much for caring about the comfort of your guests! March 2010 Hi Lorraine, We have just spent 2 perfect weeks in Apt 707, it was the best holiday home we have ever had. We enjoyed the great view to the beach 12 hours a day – and all the amenities the apartment offers. We didn’t want to go home, but we had to. Now we have these great memories and mental pictures of Marco Island for the rest of the year. I don't know how many photos I've taken, because it never looks the same, depending on the weather, time of day, etc.; but it is always breathtaking. We want to come back,
that’s for sure, if possible, we would like to stay for a longer period of

707 is beautiful. This was my first trip to Marco and I do not

May 2005 Lorraine, We are having a fantastic time here on Marco Island! I know we've been before, but the sunsets cannot be described! It has been beautiful and we are enjoying so much your well equipped condo. I wanted to let you know that the beach cart was broken. The metal was actually snapped off when we got it out of the dining room closet. Although we put it back, (wasn't sure what to do with it) we purchased another cart and will leave it here for the next people. The only other snag was the power going out last night for about three hours in the middle of the night. We roughed it though :)! We hope to come back again next March. We ended up purchasing 3 chaise lounges and left them in the apartment for you and your renters to use. (hopefully we can use them again next year) As you can tell, we enjoyed spending the majority of our time on the beautiful beach laying on chaise lounges! It took us a couple times to master anchoring the umbrella though! ha We also were surprised at how huge the beach is in front of South Seas. It is definitely a "hiking trip" when you go to the beach. (We now have beach carts so you don’t have to carry beach supplies). We also really appreciated your instructions on parking and getting into the building. It was very helpful for newcomers. The only thing that I would pass on to you is to inform your rental agent that when they send out their final letter with arrival instructions that they should tell us that we need to bring along our signed rental agreement in order to register for our parking pass at South Seas. We did not have it when we went to register, so we had to call the agent and request they fax over a copy on Monday. We then had to go back to get our pass. Just thought you would want to know. The view is gorgeous and we found your home to feel like "home" to us as well. We enjoyed all the extras in the condo! Movies, beach towels and beach chairs to name just a few! I loved the King size bed in the Master bedroom. We rented bikes for the week and my husband and I rode everywhere! The island is delightful! My 17 year old son made a daily ride to the YMCA to work out. He thinks we need property in the area! My 15 year old daughter and I had fun shopping in all the little shops. There were so many restaurants to choose from! We had a blast. We actually ran into some friends from home who were staying at the Marriot and were able to have dinner with them one evening. I just had to tell you what a great time we had and how much we enjoyed our stay. Your place is just lovely. We have been taking beach vacations for the last 15 years and have never stayed in a place that felt more like home. We had two 15 year olds with us and they loved it, too. (Especially the 14 year old girl from England they met at the pool!) The beach was wonderful for shelling and the water was so clear you could wade in to your chest and still see your feet. We had perfect weather, too. Temps hovered around 90 most days, with no rain. A couple of terrific storms blew in after dark and put on quite a show, too. We went deep sea fishing off Naples. It was the first time we had ever fished and I ended up catching an 8lb, 23 inch grouper! Lunch anyone? While we're on the subject of food, you were right about Joey's, best thin crust pizza outside of New York City. I want to thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a great time in wonderful surroundings. It was a very relaxing vacation and we enjoyed every moment of it. We look forward to a return trip.
